N8 is a Family Nurse Practitioner, injector and owner of SELF Affirming Aesthetics. He has worked as an RN at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center Emergency Department for the last 5 years and counting. Throughout that time, he gained experience in triage, traumas, critical care, mental/behavioral health and functioning as a charge nurse. He became a Certified Emergency Nurse, Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner, a Clinical Excellence Award recipient and Emergency Nurse of the Year 2021. In 2022, he finally found his way into the world of aesthetics after graduating with his Master’s from The Ohio State University College of Nursing. However, he quickly realized the difficulty of landing a job in the aesthetics industry without experience. He also noticed the lack of diversity among both staff and clients at the medspas he visited.
N8 has a deep passion for aesthetics and prides himself in bringing diversity into the realm of the aesthetics industry. This does not only mean diversity as a provider but shedding light on the various communities that are often left out of the aesthetics equation and bringing them to the forefront. N8 has a special place in his heart for the LGBTQ+ community that he is a part of and wants to provide services to help with gender affirmation to allow queer people to present themselves in the way they see themselves.
His vision is that SELF Affirming Aesthetics will be a welcoming, diverse, & self-loving place where each and every client walks out feeling more confident and more proud of being their SELF!
